 The elk or "Wapiti" is
truly a magnificent animal. It maybe my favorite big game animal to hunt. They can be a
very "vocal" animal with the cows "chirping" and during the rut the
sound of a bugeling bull will bring chills up ones spine. Hunting elk during their rut is
usually done by archery but we do have some gun hunts available during this time. The rut
hunt is guaranteed to make your heart pound. Elk seasons vary and can start in September,
but many start in October and last into November.  Many
of the elk tags or licenses are done by a draw system. Clients should plan well in advance
to beat drawing deadlines and to get the best dates. We offer a variety of elk hunts from
rugged rocky mountain states, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and Idaho, to Canadian provinces
Alberta and British Columbia. We have a wide selection of outfitters with a varied price
